About SHARP Research Services
We provide evidence based research and consultancy to the housing and voluntary sectors and to government agencies.
SHARP Research Services is led by Barbra Carlisle who has worked in the social housing field since 1988. She has worked with a range of organisations, including the Housing Corporation, the Audit Commission, The Department for Communities and Local Government, the National Housing Federation, along with housing associations, charities and local authorities.
We are experts in research methods, including face-to-face fieldwork, telephone interviewing, focus group/depth discussion, customer satisfaction surveys.
We have knowledge of Inspection and Regulation processes affecting the housing sector including Self Assessment Compliance, Continuous Improvement and Housing Corporation Assessments.
Clients look to us to define how services can be improved, how to better communicate and engage with residents and to assist in long term strategic decision making.
